If we had to choose three words or less to describe the efforts of the Animal Defense League we be able to sum it all up with, 'daring, effective, and unapologetic'. Daring to take compassionate and creative action to defend the intrinsic rights of animals. Effective, because time and time again the ADL takes action and sees results. Whether it's banning live animal acts in the Lynbrook NY chamber of commerce, pushing the Clyde Beatty Cole Brothers Circus out of town in Oceanside NY, raising thousands of dollars for a local no-kill shelter in need, rescuing dozens of Katrina animals, stopping deer hunting in Calverton and Lloyd Harbor NY, or getting dozens of local companies to sever their ties with the notorious animal testing lab Huntingdon Life Sciences, the Animal Defense League has established that when they set a goal they win. Unlike the majority of animal welfare organizations who spend time apologizing for the actions taken by radicals in our movement for fear that they might ostracize potential contributors the ADL remains unapologetic about winning. These victories are the breath of fresh air that our movement so desperately needs.

We need your help so we can keep bringing you the victories the animals so desperately need. The past year has been exceptionally hard on our budget, and we are asking that you donate whatever you can to ensure that we can continue to fight in the years to come for the animals. Please remember that just a few dollars can make a huge difference - whether your donation is $10, $100, or $500 every bit counts.
