SEMINARY FAXES STATEMENT ON DEER HUNT
CHOOSES TO SUSPEND HUNT INDEFINITELY!

On Tuesday November 15th the Animal Defense League - Long Island was faxed
the following statement from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception
regarding their granted permission to the DEC to use their grounds to
shoot deer upon. The office of Bishop Murphy issued a statement saying
the hunt was to be postponed, and while on the phone he suggested that the
choice will be to postpone indefinitely. Below is a copy of their fax.
